Dr. Ruth K. Horwitz

"Alan J. and Ruth Kafrissen Horwitz met at Temple in 1957 and married in 1958. We have 2 children. All of us combined now have 9 degrees from Temple (in Ed., Bus., Liberal Arts, and Law) Now the oldest one of our 8 grandkids (Rivka Leah Horwitz) has applied to Temple. The successful story continues. Thanks to Temple for being such a leader in Phila. and beyond!! ..."

"My partner and I are supporters and advocates for Temple. We share great memories of Temple. We get together with many of our college friends and their families, spending skiing and beach vacations annually. I would not typically send in commentary but I was quite disappointed that the Temple Review story, Love at First Site included only heterosexual couples. Janice Corcoran

"Physical Therapy what a great profession! I graduated with a BS in PT in 1978. . At my first job, I supervised many students from different schools and found the Temple students to be the most effective in their interactions with the patients. I think this was due to all our student affilations. I worked as a PT until 2005 when I developed secondary addisons disease. It was very interesting to be on the other side of the medical field. I had to have both hips replaced and became a PT patient. ..."

Due to the serious and deadly illness of my wife (MS) I was forced to move to night school one year later in order to achieve my goal of a BA in Business.
