2000:

David Adamany was named Temple’s eighth president.

Temple established its current Harrisburg Campus location at Strawberry Square, in the heart of the Pennsylvania capital.

2003:

The historic Baptist Temple was designated by the American Institute of Architects a Landmark Building. Renovations are now under way to transform the Temple into a premier arts and entertainment center while maintaining its iconic façade.

2005:

Temple University Japan gained formal status from by Japan’s Ministry of Education as a Foreign University, Japan Campus—the first non-Japanese university to be so recognized.

2006:

Ann Weaver Hart was named Temple’s ninth president.

2007:

The number of students living on or around Temple’s Main Campus and Health Sciences Center increased to more than 10,000.

2009:

Temple celebrates its 125th year of providing an excellent education to talented students from every background.
